The architecture blends seamlessly into the surroundings, featuring a restrained volume and a carefully selected materials palette that radiates calm and elegance.
The Warboys Cream, with its soft cream tones, gives the façade a warm, natural appearance. This nuanced facing brick contributes to an inviting streetscape and harmonizes beautifully with the coastal character of Oostduinkerke. The façade is laid with a standard horizontal joint and a narrow vertical joint. The joint colour was deliberately created using dune sand, resulting in a subtle, natural finish that complements the overall look. This approach highlights the brick’s tonal variations and reinforces its connection to the environment.
On the ground floor, there is an artisanal bakery, adding a lively function to the building and catering to the needs of both residents and visitors.
